Entrepreneurs who need capital and/or expertise to build their businesses can benefit from this unique funding option. The Central Texas Angel Network is designed to help early-stage companies grow to profitability and/or grow to Venture Capital scale investments.

Presentation on Funding Sources for Early Stage Companies

The purpose of these information sessions is to discuss funding criteria for local entrepreneurs seeking seed stage and early stage funding. Experts on the Texas Emerging Technology Fund and the Central Texas Angel Network will be on hand to present information on the funding criteria of those sources and entertain entrepreneurs' questions about their specific situations. The sessions will last from 4-5:30 pm on the following dates:

Application Process

The Central Texas Angel Network seeks business plans meeting our submission criteria. If your business plan meets the following three requirements:

1. Texas-based deals

2. Total fund raise no greater than $2M (Any deal above $1M must come with a lead investor and a terms sheet.)

3. Completed or near-completed product/service offering

CTAN Screening Meetings submissions deadlines are as follows. Please submit your business plan before these dates to be included in the Presentation Meeting one month afterwards.
